The only Health Professional Laser program for state certification to include a hands-on component in the Phoenix Metro area.

Increase your earning potential by adding expert-level skin laser operations to your skillset or medical practice. The Health Professional Laser Program provides the educational credentials required by the Arizona Bureau of Radiation Control (BRC) for Medical Directors and medical professionals who own and operate Class 3B or Class 4 lasers in the state of Arizona.

Often referred to as the "BRC Training" because the Bureau of Radiation Control (BRC) credentials the program, the training also includes Laser Safety Officer (LSO) certification.

Accreditation:

Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS), Bureau of Radiation Control (BRC)

Prerequisites:

Must hold a PA, RN, BSN, MSN, NP, MD, DO, NMD, DDS or DMD

Those with out the listed medical degrees are required by the Arizona Department of Helath Services, Bureau of Radiation Control to complete the 88-hour Certified Laser Technician (CLT) training to obtain certification in the state of Arizona.

Hours

This is a 20-hour Cosmetic Laser & IPL didactic online course taken as 5, 4-hour Zoom classes for your convenience, followed by one full 8-hour day of combined didactic and hands-on clinical training in our Scottsdale academy. Total hours are 28 which is 4 hours more than required by the state but we believe hands-on practice is critical to the training. Attendance and participation are mandatory under state law to complete the hours necessary for Health Professional certification.

Who should enroll?

This specialized training is for medical directors and medical professionals who own and operate Class 3B or Class 4 lasers in the state of Arizona.

We provide the convenience of online training with the added value of clinical hands-on instruction critical to gaining practical skills and confidence.

Maximum Students Per Class

Each session will be limited to a maximum of 7 students to ensure that individual attention and mentorship can be given as needed.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition: $3,000

Registration: $200 (non-refundable)

A 10% non-refundable deposit is required to hold your space in any session. Tuition must be paid in full 30 days prior to your session start date or you will be bumped to the next available session and your deposit forfeited.

Travel Arrangements

Med-Surg Aesthetics & Laser Academy can help coordinate travel arrangements for out-of-state students wishing to travel for hands-on training.
